Adult Education Center Update Adult Education and GED testing services previously administered by Grand Rapids Public Schools, are now being administered by the Kent Intermediate School District (KISD). Please contact Oogie Lamar at KISD, for further information. The General Education Development (GED) program helps adult students earn their high school equivalency certificate. Teachers help students age 18 or older prepare for the GED test in four subjects: Math, Science, Social Studies and Language Arts. Students learn from teachers in class and online with computer programs.
